Made for a private art and design collector. The brief: light a single picture from three metres and nothing around it. The round form stayed. The back is cut at an angle and gives a soft indirect light downwards. At the front, four flaps like the barn doors on a film light close down to a rectangle, so only the picture is lit. To get enough output at that distance, additional LED modules were soldered in.
